Our co-founders have spent years manually building revenue models for some of the biggest SaaS success stories in Denmark.

Usually found next to a whiteboard or spreadsheet, Toni Hohlbein & Olafur Palsson have seen time and time again the importance of backing up companies' revenue goals with plans & actions.

Without this connection, a business simply can't grow quickly.

Together Toni & Olafur have been responsible for scaling revenue for SaaS heavy-hitters in the Nordics including Falcon.io, Planday, Templafy, and Adform.

It's this experience that motivated the pair to join forces with Andrew Dahl formerly of Zendesk & Falcon.io, to create Growblocks.

“One of the biggest issues scale-ups face is their ability to predict where their revenue will come from and when. Without cracking the code to predictable revenue, businesses will struggle to hit their milestones” says Toni

We at Growblocks know that (until today) there have been no platforms available to help companies achieve predictable revenue. The only options available are either extremely time-consuming and cumbersome to implement or cost-prohibitive. This means that for scaling companies, that really need it, there was no solution for them. We are excited to fix this and help scale-ups formalize their revenue models past budgeting and high hopes!

“Growblocks is the tool we would have loved to rely on” Toni says, “we’re building a solution that provides data-driven insights and connects them with the operational reality of driving growth.”

Toni & Olafur recall when they started talking to investors it was only a matter of minutes before the lightbulb moment happened and they immediately related to the problem Growblocks is solving.

“I think we ended up with so many angel investors this round because they all recognized the problem quickly. They've all been in the same boat and knew that if we could offer scale-ups the ability to formalize their revenue models past budgeting it would have a massive impact” says Olafur

We are excited to announce that we have raised a USD 2.4M pre-seed round led by Headline. In the round is also 19 Angel investors, made up of experienced Founders and CEOs from successful companies including Peakon, Dixa, Falcon/Brandwatch, Showpad, and a host of experienced operators in SaaS.

Looking ahead, we're happy to report the excitement for Growblocks has only kept growing, with customers signing up in quick succession. We have found that most companies within the 3-50 million ARR range are quite similar, especially when it comes to the common problems that occur on the path to predictable revenue growth.

We are building Growblocks to be the go-to solution for companies to get a full picture of how their company's revenue engines actually work. We are here to provide companies with insight into what actions and plans will help them on their way to their revenue goals - and better yet, what won't!
